Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (4 lb.) chicken, cooked and cut up
1 1/2 lb. fresh okra, cut up thin
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 c. chicken broth
Preparation

Dice chicken.
Add to broth.
Bring to a boil.
Add okra, undrained tomatoes, onion, sugar, pepper and 1 teaspoon salt. Cover and simmer until okra is tender, about 45 minutes.
