Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oil
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 large can fruit cocktail
Preparation
    Mix well first three ingredients; add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Put in 9 x 12-inch pan; sprinkle 1/2 cup coconut on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
