Cole Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cabbage, shredded
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 onion, grated
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Combine sugar, turmeric, salt, mustard seed and vinegar. Bring to a boil.
    Pour over cabbage, onion and green pepper. Refrigerate.
    Will keep for weeks.
