Hot Fudge Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. shortening, melted
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. brown sugar
    4 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 3/4 c. hot water
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt in mixing bowl.
    Stir in milk and shortening.
    Stir in nuts.
    Spread in a 9-inch pan.
    Mix brown sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa; sprinkle over batter.
    Pour hot water over batter and bake for 45 minutes.
    During baking, cake mixture rises to top and chocolate sauce settles to bottom. Invert square of pudding on dessert plates.
    Dip sauce from pan over each, or the entire platter.
    Serve warm, with or without whipped cream.
    Makes 9 servings.
