Cherry Fruit Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, 1 at a time
    2 c. flour
    1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Mix margarine, sugar, vanilla, eggs and flour.
    Spread 3/4 of batter on a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan.
    Pour in filling. Place rest of batter on top.
    Spread a little.
    Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle with sugar after baking, if desired.
