Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked crust
    1 pt. strawberries, washed and sliced in halves
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan; add 1 cup water.
    Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
    Cook until thick and clear. Remove from heat and add jello.
    Stir until completely dissolved. Place strawberries in baked crust.
    Pour hot mixture over strawberries.
    Chill.
    May be served with whipped topping.
    This is quick, easy and delicious!
