Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe

2 Tbsp. cooking oil
3/4 c. chopped onion
6 c. water
6 chicken bouillon cubes
8 oz. pkg. fine noodles
1/2 tsp. salt
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
6 c. milk
1 lb. Velveeta
pepper to taste
Preparation

Saute onion in oil until tender.
Add water and bouillon cubes; bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve cubes.
Add noodles and cook, uncovered, for 3 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add broccoli and garlic.
Cook for 4 minutes; add rest of ingredients and cook until broccoli is done.
