Polynesian Hot Dog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. franks
    1 large onion, sliced
    4 stalks celery, cut up
    1 large green pepper, cut up
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 small can pineapple chunks, drained (save liquid)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preparation
    Combine syrup from pineapple chunks with water.
    Add vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch and soy sauce.
    Set aside.
    Saute onion and celery in oil until hot, not brown.
    Add franks, pineapple and sauce mixture.
    Heat, stirring for 3 to 4 minutes until thick. Add green pepper (if desired).
    Heat.
    Serve over rice or noodles.
