Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. (3 sticks) butter (no substitutes; room temperature)
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    5 large eggs (room temperature)
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk (room temperature)
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 Tbsp. almond extract
Preparation
    In large bowl, beat butter, sugar and eggs (add one at a time) until smooth.
    Add flour, baking powder, milk, vanilla and almond extract and beat until smooth.
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Butter and flour (nonstick as well) a 10-inch tube, Bundt pan, 2 loaf pans or mini loaf pans.
    Pour batter into pan.
    Bake 1 to 1 1/4 hours. Check after 45 minutes.
    (Knife will be clean when inserted in middle.)
    Cool 1 hour in pan.
    Freezes extremely well.
