Snickers Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (11 1/2 oz.) pkg. Nestle milk chocolate morsels
    1 (14 oz.) bag caramels
    5 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 c. dry roasted peanuts
Preparation
    Melt chocolate and shortening over hot water.
    Stir until smooth.
    Pour 1/2 into 8-inch foil-lined pan, spreading evenly. Refrigerate until firm (about 15 minutes).
    Return remaining chocolate to low heat.
