Baked Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean stew beef
    1 c. chopped celery pieces
    6 medium carrots, sliced
    1 large onion, diced
    3 or 4 medium potatoes, diced
    1 1/2 c. tomato juice or V-8 juice
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. instant tapioca
Preparation
    Place beef and vegetables in large casserole in order given. Pour tomato juice or V-8 juice over contents.
    Sprinkle salt, sugar and instant tapioca on top.
    Paprika may be added, as well as a bay leaf or a pinch of thyme, if desired.
