Hot Dog Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Eckrich hot dogs
1/4 c. minced onion
ketchup
1/2 c. shredded cheese
2 c. cooked mashed potatoes (fresh are best)
5 slices American cheese, cut in half lengthwise
Preparation

Place hot dogs in bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
Slit each one lengthwise.
Put slice of cheese in slit.
Pile mashed potatoes over hot dogs, covering well.
Sprinkle onion over mashed potatoes.
Pour ketchup over onions, using enough so that each hot dog has about 2 teaspoons on it.
Cover with shredded cheese. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until cheese is melted and hot dogs are browned.
