Seven-Up Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or oleo
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    7 oz. 7-Up
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 c. flour
    2 tsp. lemon extract
Preparation
    Cream together the oleo, shortening and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Beat for about 20 minutes total.
    Add sifted flour and lemon extract.
    Fold in 7-Up.
    Bake in greased and floured deep tube or Bundt pan at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
