Chocolate Covered Peanut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 baked 9-inch pie shell
    1 pt. vanilla ice cream, softened
    1 c. whipped topping, thawed
    1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
    1 c. chopped peanuts, divided usage
    1/4 c. chocolate ice cream topping
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine ice cream, whipped topping, peanut butter and 2/3 cup chopped peanuts; mix thoroughly.
    Spoon into baked pie shell.
    Top with remaining peanuts and drizzle with chocolate topping.
    Freeze until firm, several hours or overnight.
    Allow to defrost 15 to 20 minutes before slicing.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
