Basic Cream Soup(Makes 3 To 4 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 small onion, chopped
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. skim or 1% milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook onion and celery in margarine until tender. Stir in flour.
    Add milk; cook until mixture boils and thickens, stirring constantly.
    Season with salt and pepper (any desired cooked vegetables or meals can be added with milk).
