Lumberjacks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. lard
1 c. dark molasses
2 eggs
4 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
Preparation

Cream the sugar and lard; add molasses and eggs, then add dry ingredients.
Have at hand a small bowl of sugar.
Dipping the fingers into the sugar, pinch off a ball of cookie dough, about the size of a walnut.
Dip the ball into sugar and arrange on cookie sheet.
