Jeanette Carter'S Mother'S Egg Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 crust
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    4 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine egg, sugar and salt.
    Add milk, vanilla and nutmeg. Pour into pie shell.
    Bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes. Then bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean when inserted in middle of pie.
