Microwave Bread And Butter Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large cucumber (2 c.), sliced in 1/4-inch rounds
    1 medium onion, sliced in thin rounds (3/4 c.)
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1/2 c. distilled white vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1/4 tsp. celery seed
    1/4 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients in a 2-quart microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High 7 to 8 minutes, stirring twice, until cucumber is crisp-tender and onion translucent.
    Ladle into a glass jar. Cover, cool slightly and refrigerate.
