Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans crushed tomatoes (1 lb. 12 oz. size)
    1 can red kidney beans (1 lb. 12 oz. size)
    1/4 to 1/2 can chili powder (1.25 oz. size)
    1/2 to 3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped onion
    3 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. hamburg
Preparation
    Brown hamburg and onion in a large pot.
    Drain grease.
    Add sugar and chili powder.
    Stir for a minute.
    Add tomatoes, beans and vinegar.
    Add 1/2 cup water.
    Stir well.
    Cook 10 minutes, tasting occasionally.
    Add more vinegar, sugar or chili powder to taste.
    Simmer 1/2 hour.
    Can be served with corn muffins.
