Cheesy Beef Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic salt
    1/4 tsp. chili powder
    dash of pepper
    1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    3 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Brown ground beef with onions and green pepper; drain.
    Stir in tomato sauce, mushrooms and seasonings.
    Separate crescent rolls and press the triangles into a 9-inch pie plate to form a crust.
