Bread Or Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast
    2 c. warm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    6 1/2 to 7 c. flour
    1 egg
    1/4 c. shortening
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Add sugar, salt and half of flour; beat 2 minutes.
    Add egg and shortening.
    Beat in remaining flour gradually.
    Mix with hands until smooth.
    Place in greased bowl.
    Keep covered until double in size.
    Punch down and shape into loaves or rolls.
    Let rise and bake at 350\u00b0 to 375\u00b0 until brown.
