Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. walnuts
1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Cream butter, sugar and egg yolk.
Add flour and vanilla. Spoon into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Wet fingers and spread mixture over entire surface.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes. While hot, sprinkle chocolate chips over and spread when melted. Top with nuts.
Cut into squares when cooled.
