Ingredients

4 large onions, sliced very thin
4 cans beef broth
1/2 c. cooking wine
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
ground pepper
1/2 c. butter
Preparation

Cook onions in 1/2 cup butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients.
Heat thoroughly. Serve soup topped with croutons and grated Parmesan cheese.
