Spicy Pepparkakor - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. soda
    3 tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. molasses
    1 unbeaten egg
Preparation
    Cream the butter.
    Gradually add sugar, then add the molasses and egg, blending well.
    Add the dry ingredients gradually, mixing thoroughly.
    Roll out on a floured surface, 1/4 at a time (dough may need to be chilled for easier handling) to 1/8-inch thickness. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters, and place on lightly greased cookie sheets.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
