Sausage And Cheese Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 lb. hot sausage
    1 lb. sharp cheese, grated (room temperature)
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour; then add sausage and cheese.
    Mix well.
    Roll into 1-inch balls.
    Bake on a cookie sheet 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven.
    Serve warm.
    Makes about 110 balls.
