Easy Yeast Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. warm milk
    1 egg
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. warm water
    2 Tbsp. shortening
Preparation
    Mix together the egg, milk, water, sugar and yeast.
    Mix together the flour and shortening so that it looks the size of peas.
    Stir in the liquid mixture to form a soft ball.
    Turn out onto floured board.
    Knead gently.
    Roll out and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Butter both sides and place in pan.
    Let rise until double (about 3 hours).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
