Asparagus Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. minced onions
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. commercial sour cream
    2 (No. 2) cans asparagus spears
    1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Simmer onions in melted butter for a few minutes.
    Add flour, salt and pepper and mix well.
    Add sour cream and heat.
    Place asparagus spears in shallow baking dish and carefully blend in sauce with asparagus.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
