Ingredients

1 3/4 c. flour
2/3 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 c. + 2 Tbsp. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. coconut
Preparation

Sift all dry ingredients together.
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, beating until light and creamy.
Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
Stir in vanilla.
Pour into 2 greased and floured cake pans and bake about 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
