Crab Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen crabmeat, thawed, drained flakes
    3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
    2 Tbsp. finely chopped onions
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1/2 tsp. salt
    oil
Preparation
    Mix crabmeat, 1/2 cup crumbs, eggs, mayonnaise, onion, parsley and salt.
    Chill.
    Shape mixture into 8 patties.
    Coat each with remaining bread crumbs.
    Fry in 1 1/2 inches of hot oil 5 to 7 minutes, or until golden brown, turning once.
    Serve with tartar sauce.
    Makes 8 servings.
