Poppy Seed Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. poppy seed
    3/4 c. butter
    2 c. sifted flour
    4 beaten egg whites
    1 c. milk
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Soak poppy seed in milk for 2 hours.
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar, milk and poppy seed.
    Add dry ingredients, then egg whites. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
