King Ranch Chicken #2 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 doz. corn tortillas
3 c. cooked chicken
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (10 oz.) can Ro-Tel tomatoes (including liquid)
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. chicken broth
Preparation

Boil chicken.
Cool.
Remove meat from bones.
Reserve 1/2 cup broth.
Spray 9 x 13-inch casserole with Pam.
Tear tortillas into pieces.
Place in casserole.
Place chicken on top of tortilla pieces.
Puree tomatoes and liquid in blender or food processor.
In bowl, combine Ro-Tel puree, 1 cup cheese, cream of mushroom soup, black pepper and garlic powder.
Pour over chicken. Sprinkle top with remaining 1 cup cheese.
Pour chicken broth over all.
Bake, covered, in 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
Serves 6.
