Biscuit Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. baking powder
2 tsp. salt
8 tsp. sugar (optional)
1 c. shortening
Preparation

With a pastry blender or 2 table knives, cut in shortening with other ingredients until the mixture resembles coarse meal. Store in airtight, covered containers.
This mixture will keep for some time on a cupboard shelf or for months if stored in the refrigerator.
