Fresh Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. fresh strawberries
2 c. sugar
2 c. cold water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cornstarch
6 tsp. white corn syrup
1 small box strawberry jello
2 pie shells

Preparation

Cook sugar, water, cornstarch, syrup and vanilla until thick. Remove form heat and add jello.
Place strawberries in cooked pie shells.
Pour jello mixture over strawberries.
Refrigerate until cool. Serve with Cool Whip topping.
