Gerry'S Orange Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz. size) box tapioca pudding
    1 (3 oz. size) box vanilla pudding
    1 (3 oz. size) box orange jello
    3 c. water
    1 c. mandarin oranges, well drained
    1 c. Cool Whip
    1 whole watermelon
    2 cantaloupes, seeds removed, cut and cubed
    2 honeydew melons, seeds removed, cut and cubed
    2 ripe pineapples, peeled and sliced or cubed
    4 mangos, peeled and sliced
    10 kiwi fruit, peeled and sliced in circles
    2 lb. white seedless grapes, rinsed in cold water
    2 lb. dark Concord grapes, rinsed in cold water
    2 lb. Burgundy red grapes, rinsed in cold water
    2 pt. whole strawberries, washed and de-stemmed
    2 heads lettuce
    2 c. persimmon pulp
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. sifted flour
    3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 stick melted butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sweet potatoes, cooked and mashed to get the 1 c.
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cook the sweet potatoes in water. Drain off the liquid, then mash.
    Set aside.
    Sift together flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
    Add the yellow cornmeal, then stir.
    In a small bowl, combine both types of sugar.
    Add the eggs to the sugar mixture and cream until fluffy.
