Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 or 4 eggs, beaten slightly
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. Karo syrup (dark)
    3 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 c. pecans
    1 (8 or 9-inch) pie shell
Preparation
    Mix ingredients and place in pie shell.
    Bake in hot oven at 400\u00b0 about 15 minutes and then reduce to 340\u00b0 for another 20 minutes.
