Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1/4 c. Crisco
    3 c. plain flour (White Lily)
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix margarine, Crisco and sugar until fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt at least at 3 different intervals.
    Add alternately with milk.
    Add flavoring. Roll 1 cup walnuts in dry flour, mix in batter.
    Bake in three 9-inch cake pans. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
