Velvet Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    juice of 4 lemons
    pinch of salt
    2 qt. whole milk
    1 pt. whipping cream
    1 large can apricots or 2 regular size cans (use juice also)
Preparation
    Mash apricots well.
    Pour sugar and lemon juice over apricots; stir until sugar is dissolved.
    Place this mixture in the refrigerator or deep freeze until well chilled.
    Pour into freezer can and stir in whipping cream until well mixed.
    Fill can to the correct level with whole milk and stir.
    Freeze according to your freezer directions.
