Coconut Crunch Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
    1 cup all purpose flour
    1-1/4 cup flaked coconut
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1 cup slivered almonds
    1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding
    1 package (3.4 oz) instant coconut or pistachio pudding
    2-2/3 cups cold milk
    2 cups whipped topping
    fresh strawberries (optional)
Preparation
    In a bowl combine first 5 ingredients.
    Press into a lightly greased 13x9x2 baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Stir every 10 minutes to form course crumbs - cool - divide in half.
    Press half into the same baking dish.
    In a bowl beat pudding mix with milk.
    Fold in whipped topping (or Cool Whip) and spoon over COOLED crust, top with crumb mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Garnish with strawberries if desired.
