Yummy Squash Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. yellow squash, cut into small pieces (about 1-inch)
    2 (8 oz.) cans chicken broth
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (regular or light)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Combine squash and onion in chicken broth. Cook until tender. In blender, combine 1/2 of the squash mixture with 1/2 of the cream cheese and puree. Repeat for the rest of squash and cream cheese.
    Return mixture to pot and simmer for 15 minutes. Season to taste.
