Vidalia Onion Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 large Vidalia onions, sliced thin
    1/2 c. softened margarine
    25 rich round crackers, crushed
    1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Saute onions with margarine in skillet for 15 or 20 minutes over medium heat.
    Place 1/2 the onions in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Top with 1/2 the crackers and 1/2 the Parmesan cheese. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
    Bake, uncovered, at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
