Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon, chopped
    1/2 c. thinly sliced celery, chopped
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/8 tsp. thyme
    3 c. chopped raw potatoes
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 c. milk, scalded
    1 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Add celery and onion.
    Saute 5 minutes.
    Add thyme, potatoes, salt, pepper and enough water to cover potatoes. Simmer until potatoes are soft.
    Stir in hot milk and flour. Simmer 5 minutes.
    Can use leftover mashed potatoes instead of raw ones.
