Sausage Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. country sausage (mild)
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 tsp. pumpkin spice
    1 c. applesauce
    1 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. brown sugar
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 1/2 Tbsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. orange juice
    1 c. raisins, plumped
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 300\u00b0.
    Cream the sausage with sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Sift dry ingredients together. Add alternately with orange juice.
    Add applesauce. Fold in raisins and nuts last. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours. Let stand 15 minutes before removing from pan. Keep refrigerated.
