Cream Cheese Pecan Pie(Chess Pie) - cooking recipe

8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
4 eggs
sugar
vanilla
unbaked 10-inch pastry shell
1 1/4 c. pecans, coarsley chopped
1 c. light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

In a large bowl of an electric mixer, at medium speed, beat together until smooth the cream cheese, 1 egg, 1/3 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Spread over the bottom of the pastry shell. Sprinkle with the pecans.
