Toffee - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/2 lb. butter
2 c. chopped pecans
10 plain Hershey bars
Preparation

Mix and beat butter and sugar over medium heat until candy thermometer reaches 290\u00b0 or hard crack stage, approximately 15 minutes after it bubbles.
Sprinkle 1/2 pecans on wax paper or cookie sheet.
Pour brown sugar mixture on top of nuts.
Brush candy bars on top and let melt.
Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Let cool and break into pieces.
