Bean Bake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can tomatoes
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 onions, sliced thin
shortening
2 (16 oz.) cans Boston style beans
1/4 c. red wine
1/4 c. fresh bread crumbs
1/4 c. shredded sharp cheese
Preparation

Drain tomatoes, reserving juice.
Brown beef in skillet; season with salt and pepper.
Add tomato juice; simmer until evaporated.
Saute onions in shortening until yellow.
