Chili Con Carne - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
1 minced garlic clove
1/4 c. chili powder
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. salt
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 (15 to 19 oz.) cans red kidney beans, drained
Preparation

Cook and drain ground beef.
Add onion and cook covered, stirring frequently, until onion appears clear.
Stir in chili powder, salt and pepper; cook 1 minute.
Stir in tomatoes with their liquid, minced garlic clove, kidney beans and tomato sauce. Cook over high heat until boiling.
Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring often.
Serves 8.
