Hearty Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 onion, chopped fine (about 1 c.)
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. lean ground chuck
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 (1 lb.) can red kidney beans (and liquid)
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup
    1 to 1 1/2 c. sliced celery
    3 to 4 thinly sliced raw potatoes (about 4 c.)
Preparation
    Saute onion in butter or margarine until transparent; push aside. Add ground meat, salt and pepper; brown slightly.
    Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon into a 2-quart casserole. Cover. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender.
    Makes 6 servings.
