The Best Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. box lasagne noodles
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 giant onion, diced
    3 to 4 cloves garlic, crushed
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    2 qt. canned tomatoes
    1 large can tomato paste
    1 to 2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    2 lb. cottage cheese
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, grated
    3 to 5 basil leaves, crushed or chopped
    1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    salt and pepper to taste
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    In a heavy 3 or 4-quart pot, brown the meat, onion and garlic in the olive oil.
    Add the tomatoes and paste, the mushrooms, basil, parsley, salt and pepper.
    Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cook the lasagne noodles according to the package directions.
