Escalloped Hamburg - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. extra lean ground beef
2 or 3 large potatoes, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, chopped fine
salt and pepper
butter or margarine
milk
Preparation

Put a layer of hamburg in a 2-quart casserole dish.
Season with salt and pepper.
Put a layer of thinly sliced raw potatoes and onions, chopped fine on top.
Dot with butter.
Alternate layers until dish is full.
Cover with enough milk to moisten and reach top layer.
Bake 1 1/2 hours in hot oven at 400\u00b0.
