Raisin Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    2 c. water
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs
    1 c. nut meats (optional)
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Combine raisins, water and soda; bring to a boil.
    Cool completely.
    Beat together eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla.
    Add raisin mixture with flour and eggs.
    Fold in nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
